"I wanted movement and not a calm course of existence. I wanted excitement and danger and the chance to sacrifice myself for my love. I felt in myself a superabundance of energy which found no outlet in our quiet life." ~Leo Tolstoy

Liquid Gravity: Sahalie Falls FA
First crossing of the beautiful Sahalie Falls highline along the McKenzie River in Oregon. This amazing line was walked and established by Kurt Staheli and myself, measuring in at 75 feet long and 120 feet above the cascading water below. The constant mist and updrafts of wind made for a continuous rainbow visual below the line which added to the inspiring exposure and powerful energy of the waterfall itself. A must repeat line that I plan to get more footage of in the spring with the GoPro POV perspectives. Filmed by the talented "Old Greg" Garretson.
Musical Artist: Andrew Bird "Tenuousness"
